More About Me

My Professional Background

Most of my career has been spent designing products for kids.  You might recognize some of the national brands I have contributed to like Huffy Bicycles, Little Tikes Toys and Bénir Baby Products just to name a few.  It always brought me great joy to see a child enjoying a plaything I had designed.  I get the same warm feeling when I help a seller achieve their goal or assist a buyer in finding their dream home.  Few things are more gratifying.

Professional Interests

My education and professional experience has helped me develop a design sense that enables me to see the potential in any property.  Architectural significance, interesting spaces, wonderful landscaping and creative paint schemes are some of the visual features that I look for when searching for your next home.

Personal Background

My wife and I bought our first house when we were in our mid twenties, just after the birth of our first child.  Although each of our three children were born in the state of Ohio our "home" was always Michigan.  All three kids now live in Grand Rapids with their own families. We bleed Blue and Gold and we also root for the Spartans (when they are not playing the Wolverines).

My wife is an attorney and loves to garden.  I like to fish.  We both get a kick out of home renovation and are currently working on our 107 year old Heritage Hill home.  The whole family is musical and I studied design in college.  Even though she and I both grew up in the Detroit area we are sold on West Michigan and proud to call it home.
